The clear weather will remain throughout the day Friday 16 February and only from Saturday 17th there will be an incursion of some clouds on Lombardy and Triveneto with a little rain that will fall in the morning and some snowfall between 900 and 1000 meters. On Sunday 18th the instability should move southwards with some stormy phenomena expected in the central Tyrrhenian regions and on the two major islands. Be careful of fog in the Po Valley in the morning and after sunset due to the humidity present.

TO starting from Monday 19 February the weather conditions in Italy are worseningaccording to the forecasts of ilMeteo.it. The rain will start from the north and then expand to the centre, snow will also arrive around 1000 meters in the Alps and 1400 meters in the Apennines. This cyclonic phase should remain until at least Wednesday 21 February. However, there could be the risk of the arrival of a series of other disturbances of North Atlantic origin on Western Europe and Italy.

While waiting for next week’s disturbance, Italy is experiencing good weather with temperatures 12 degrees above the average for the period in the Alps where the freezing point is recorded at 3300 metres, a typical share for the month of June. If we were in summer this situation would have brought temperatures of 35-40 degrees in the shade over Italy. 2024 is set to break new records and the risk of an early and increasingly torrid summer is increasingly closer, also thanks to El Nino and the general warming of the Pacific waters. Thursday 15 February maximum temperatures in the South reached 22 degrees. On the day of Friday 16th in the South 23 degrees are expected, temperatures therefore typical of the Spring of the outings of Easter Monday or other festivals of the period.
