Roxeanne Hazes will start working as a presenter of SBS 6, which means that the arrival of her mother Rachel Hazes will be definitively canceled. “I think one thing precludes the other.”
A nice development for Roxeanne Hazes: the 32-year-old singer will work for Talpa as a presenter. She will present a new program in which Dutch-language music takes center stage. Her brother André Hazes Jr. is also already connected to SBS 6, because he will soon debut with his new reality show with Mart Hoogkamer.
‘Rox is jumping’
The Rox news was announced yesterday at a presentation by Talpa. Hélène Hendriks presented that. She tells in Show news: “Look, of course I think it’s great fun, because I really love Dutch music. It’s great that you have someone for the presentation who of course radiates that song of life.”
The show will be called Het Holland Huis. Frans Klein, TV bobo at Talpa, says: “A new Dutch-language music program with all the great talents from the Netherlands. We give them a platform in this program. Yes, and Roxeanne is eager to be able to present this.”
Super nice girl
Britt Dekker likes it for Roxeanne. “I know her a little and she is a super nice girl. It seems quite tough to me with all the hassle with that mother and such. Then you just give someone nice things.”
Wendy van Dijk is standing next to her and she nods in agreement. Britt continues: “Yes, I think she will have a lot of fun. Often those newcomers to television are still nice and pure and that is what she is.”
No Rachel
Hélène still knows little about the content. “I am very curious about the program. I don’t know exactly what it will look like, but the fact that it is Dutch already sounds good. That Dutch-language music is nice, to blast it on the channel.”
Is that SBS 6 soap from Rox’s mother Rachel Hazes now permanently off the track? Yes. Frans: “You would almost say: now the other part of the family, but I think one excludes the other, so hahaha, that is the reality.”
