Francid San Martinactor famous for playing Dario Hernandez in the soap opera The time of our life, is dead. His body was found lifeless in his home in Los Angeles on January 16 but the news was only released by the foreign press today. He was 39 years old. According to an initial reconstruction, the actor committed suicide by hanging himself.

Born in Mallorca on August 27, 1985 but raised in Montana, Francisco San Martin began acting in some children’s theater productions. Returning to Spain with his family, he spent his adolescence in Madrid and, for some time, worked as a model. He then began studying acting and worked in the theater, on TV and also in some Spanish film productions.
Success with The time of our lives
Between 2010 and 2011 he worked on the soap The time of our lives. He was part of the cast for 59 episodes. As he remembers Deadlinehis character, Dario Hernandez, arrived on the series as a petty thief, only to discover that he had come to Salem to investigate an unsolved case. Later, Hernandez moved to Argentina for a professional promotion. In 2016-2017 the role of Dario Hernandez is played by Jordi Vilasuso.

He also worked in Beautiful
In 2017 Francisco San Martin worked in the soap Beautiful. For 16 episodes he played Mateo, a charming gardener who gets involved in one of the evil Sheila’s plans.

Camila Banus, co-starring with Francisco San Martin in The time of our lives, wanted to say goodbye to his friend and colleague for the last time via social media: «Pepe, what can I say except that I love you and rest in peace, my friend», he wrote. Adding: “I love you so much, I would have liked to tell you more.”
