2 pm – First report
The first report of a suspicious situation in a house in the Fatimawijk arrived at the emergency services around two in the afternoon. The police took the report extremely seriously, because the man threatened to do something in the house in the house, it turned out only in the evening after the man had already been taken out of his house.

4.15 pm – upscaling and surrounding
The emergency services scoured up around a quarter past four to a so-called GRIP1 situation. This is used for a crisis situation if consultation and coordination between the emergency services are needed. A mobile fire brigade unit was set up in Doctor Schaepmanlaan in which the emergency services could consult.

A special arrest team of the police surrounded a house in a side street of Doctor Schaepmanlaan. Police ribbons were tense in Doctor Schaepmanlaan and there were many cars from the Special Interventions Service, in short the DSI. The special police arrest team is not just used.

According to reporter Willem-Jan Joachems, the raid in Roosendaal was special:

4.30 pm – Neighborhood closed
The Fatimawijk was closed around half past four. Residents could only get in and out of the neighborhood in an emergency. The Curio School Community is also closed as a precaution. A care unit of the fire brigade arrived with food and drinks for the emergency services: police, fire brigade and ambulance.

Just before five o’clock it became clear that it was a suspicious situation in a house on the Cardinal of Rossumstraat. The Explosives Security team also came to Roosendaal. The police examiners often come into action in the discovery of an explosive or suspicious package. For a long time, the Security Region did not want to say anything about the suspicious situation for a long time.

5.30 pm – Robothond and Drones
Around half past six preparations were made to use a robotond. That is a unique robot on four legs with a lamp and camera that is used to do research in a drug lab, such as four years ago in Wernhout. The police also flew with drones above the Fatimawijk.
