Scientists of the College of Natural and Health Sciences from the University of Tampa went on research from. Good news for all brunettes: Of the more than 1900 participants, 67% of men and 71% of women said they find brown hair most attractive.
Positive qualities
The reason? The participants unconsciously make a link between brown hair and various positive qualities, such as intelligence, independence and a confident appearance. It did not matter whether the person was naturally brown or whether he or she had dyed his or her hair.
Blonde or redhead?
Blondes, on the other hand, are in second place. Only 27% of the participating men and 23% of the participating women indicated that they find blond hair most attractive. Redheads are in third place (despite Prince Harry being generally considered very attractive). The researchers suspect that this is related to the rare, natural occurrence of this hair color.
