Cristiano Ronaldo has no shortage of expensive cars. Now the Portuguese has a new car. And its price is also impressive.
The top Saudi club Al-Nassr has a new advertising partner. The club, for which Cristiano Ronaldo also plays, is sponsored by BMW. And the German car manufacturer directly equipped Al-Nassr’s players with new cars.
From now on, the professionals of the Saudi runner-up can drive through Riyadh in new SUVs. The basic model of the XM costs just over 130,000 euros and has 476 hp. But the players of Al-Nassr will probably have received the more luxurious version: The SUV XM Red Label offers 748 hp from a V8 turbo petrol engine and can accelerate to 100 km/h within 3.8 seconds. This car costs just over 200,000 euros.
An impressive sum, but not particularly noticeable in Ronaldo’s car collection. “CR7” drives, among other things, two Rolls-Royce models, which together cost around 1.15 million euros.
He also owns several Ferraris, which are also more expensive than the BMW SUV. The 39-year-old’s fleet also includes Lamborghini and Porsche cars.
From a purely sporting perspective, however, the situation is less satisfactory. Al-Nassr is currently only in fourth place and is eleven points behind leaders Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League. The goal of winning titles with Al-Nassr is becoming more distant. Because so far Ronaldo has come away empty-handed.
