Last week, the UWV again received negative news. Three months ago we read that tens of thousands of disabled people have received incorrectly calculated benefits for years and last week it turned out that there is also a lot wrong with the way the UWV calculates Wajong benefits. The UWV pays out almost 25 billion euros annually in unemployment and disability benefits and the organization itself also costs money, namely another 2.5 billion euros on top of that.
