Last year, the international competitions of ZV De Zaan were held in Amsterdam’s Sloterparkbad. There was no room there this year, so they moved to Alphen aan de Rijn. “There is also a nice swimming pool in Alkmaar, but they do not have floating goals there. We should have purchased them. They do have that in Alphen aan de Rijn and international matches have been played there more often,” says volunteer Ruben van Wijk.
Sant Andreu very strong opponent
On Saturday ZV De Zaan played against the Spanish Sant Andreu. The visitors from Spain won the Champions League last year. The women of ZV De Zaan therefore had to work hard.
NH Sport was present on Saturday and made the above video report.
