Water level Maas low but not alarming yet

The water level in the Meuse is not alarming yet. If the river transports less than 25 cubic meters of water per second for three consecutive days or longer, there is an imminent water shortage, according to the National Coordination Committee for Water Distribution (LCW). By way of comparison: during the high water of July last year, the Meuse at one point discharged 3260 cubic meters of water per second.
