“The next two nights there will be a lot of rain and clouds,” explains Johnny. “Perhaps the night from Thursday to Friday is the first interesting opportunity. Then it is dry, but there are quite a lot of clouds. In terms of weather, the night from Friday to Saturday is the best, but then there are fewer stars. In terms of quantity stars is the best night on Thursday.”
The best time to watch a shower of stars is mid-December, according to Johnny. “Then there are many more. They are the Geminids.”
