“Waste of time”: Donald Trump comments on Kanye West’s visit and his presidential candidacy

After Kanye West spoke in a video about the visit to Donald Trump, Trump wrote about it. On the “Truth Social” network he founded, Trump confirmed the flying visit, but did not comment on Kanye West’s statements. West visited Trump to ask if they would like to run together in the next presidential election.

According to Kanye West, Donald Trump was less impressed by the question about the candidacy and much more by the people West showed up there with. Trump is also said to have insulted Kim Kardashian, Kanye West’s ex-wife, and ended up yelling at him that he would lose to him. West’s candidacy is nothing but a waste of time for everyone involved.

“Last week Kanye West called me to dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly after, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends I didn’t know about. We had dinner on the back porch Tuesday night in the presence of many family members. Dinner was quick and uneventful. Then they went to the airport,” Donald Trump wrote on Friday (November 25) on Truth Social. West was joined by Nick Fuentes, a commentator on American politics and an anti-Semitic Holocaust denier, and Karen Giorno, who was previously a part of Trump’s Make America Great Again campaign. The third person in the rapper’s tow is currently unknown.

On Saturday (November 26), the ex-President of the United States also wrote: “So I’m helping a badly battered man who just so happens to be Black, Ye (Kanye West), whose business and practically everything else in his life has been decimated and who always was good to me by complying with his request to meet in Mar-a-Lago just so I could give him some much-needed “advice.”

David Friedmann, who served as US Ambassador to Israel from 2017 to 2021 after being nominated by Trump, wrote on Twitter: “To my friend Donald Trump: You are better than that. Even the visit of an anti-Semite like Kanye West and human Scum like Nick Fuentes is unacceptable. I challenge you to kick out these idiots, distance yourself from them, and relegate them to the dustbin of history where they belong.”

Kanye West was banned from Instagram and Facebook as well as Twitter in October after he expressed more anti-Semitic sentiments. In addition, he spread conspiracy theories about the death of George Floyd.
