The law decree is already in force that modifies the highway code. Now the ascertainers can be based on the images of the electronic eyes
More difficult times, at least on paper, for those who buttons, handkerchiefs or other from the car. The decree law number 116 of 8 August 2025 came into force after its publication in Official Gazette. The DL deals with different topics, first of all the contrast of illegal activities on waste, with a reference to the land of fires and also contains the tightening of criminal penalties in cases of criminal activities such as the spill of waste. As regards the milder, but also more widespread cases, article 7 introduces a novelty relating to the highway code. That is, the possibility of fine drivers who throw objects from the vehicle on the road with the use of cameras. The electronic eyes, placed outside or inside the inhabited centers, can be the speed camera or for the control of access in limited traffic areas. If the acquired images will show the illicit and the plaque of the vehicle, the owner can have the fine of 216 euros come home.
Changes to the code

The article of the Highway Code that is modified is 15, paragraph 1, in various parts. Precisely the most relevant change concerns the assessment by the insultation agents of the road which can also take place in deferred. The fine is scheduled for the abandonment of small objects such as, in fact, a butt, a paper, a chewing gum. The case can be different if it is abandoned to be a can that contains liquid or a sandwich, for example, with sauces that end up on the road: in this case we speak of a smear. The law decree just entered into force will need to be converted into law by 7 October of this year, under penalty of forfeiture of the rule.
