Washington looks for gas for Europe in case of war between Russia and Ukraine

The US government held talks with several international energy companies on Friday about the supply of extra gas to Europe in a war between Russia and Ukraine. The Americans fear that a war will endanger the gas supply from Russia to Europe, insiders told Reuters news agency.
