Five finalists eventually came from a list of fourteen routes. From that Irelerboog Oost was chosen as the favorite. Jury member Gilbert Roels mainly praises the infrastructure: “The variety in landscape and the large share of unpaved paths makes this route a great experience.”
Ypresboog Oost runs through the Westhoek and the Leie region and connects the municipalities of Zonnebeke, Moorslede, Wervik, Langemark-Poelkapelle and part of Ypres.
