Vooruit wants all victims of phishing to be reimbursed by their bank within 24 hours. Member of Parliament Jeroen Soete has prepared a bill that will ensure that banks can no longer systematically blame their customers for phishing. “Banks today accuse customers of gross negligence, which means that barely 8 percent get their money back.
