Vooruit and CD&V want to review savings at De Lijn, De Ridder: “Lines with hardly any passengers can no longer be justified”

Vooruit and CD&V oppose the planned cuts at De Lijn. They are canceling lines and journeys in all transport regions. “Back to the drawing board,” said CD&V in the Flemish Parliament. Minister of Mobility Annick De Ridder (N-VA) stood her ground: “In difficult budgetary times, lines with hardly any passengers can no longer be justified.”
