Deroo is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Yet he feels relatively good, he said during an interview with Sporza. He and his girlfriend are expecting a daughter. He learned this a few weeks before his cancer diagnosis. Deroo already has a son and now a daughter is joining him. The delivery is planned for the end of June.
