Assistant coach Johan Plat follows trainer Dick Schreuder who immediately leaves PEC Zwolle. They are reportedly going to work at the Spanish CD Castellon, which plays at the third level in Spain.
At the intercession of Dick Schreuder, the Volendammer came to PEC Zwolle at the end of 2021. He was promoted to the Premier League with the club last season. Before that, Plat was trainer of Jong Volendam, RKAV Volendam and assistant at Katwijk.
As a football player, Plat played for FC Volendam, Telstar and Hans Rostock, among others.
