FOOTBALL – Vivianne Miedema can add another goal as an international of Orange. The Hoogeveen scored in the friendly match against South Africa.
The game ended in a 5-1 score, in favor of the Orange Women. Miedema signed for the third goal on the Dutch side.
The match replaced the World Cup qualifier against Belarus. That international match could not take place because the KNVB does not want to play against teams from Russia or Belarus because of the war in Ukraine.
Last Friday, in the 12-0 win against Cyprus, Miedema found the net six more times. Never before have Dutch women’s football achieved such a big victory.
