Violin worth more than 30,000 euros stolen from train at Amsterdam Central Station | Abroad

“The owner would like her violin back and the police are happy to arrest the perpetrator of the theft,” says a police message with a photo of the instrument. The violin is in a rectangular, dark-colored case and was taken around 4:30 p.m. on an international train at Amsterdam Central Station, which was about to depart for Germany.

The police are looking for witnesses or people who have more information. “The violin may have been offered for sale or someone may suddenly be playing this unique instrument.”
