Defeating Latvia 4-0 in the 7th match of the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) Qualifiers Group D, the National Team gained the right to compete in the tournament for the 6th time. In the match played at Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium, the goals that brought the victory to the Crescent-Stars were Yunus Akgün in the 58th minute, and 90+2 in the 83rd minute. Cenk Tosun scored in the minute and Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored in the 87th minute.
With this result, the national team, which won its 5th victory in the group, increased its points to 16 and guaranteed to get a ticket to EURO 2024, which will be hosted by Germany, before the last matches.
