FC Bayern struggled to the round of 16 of the Champions League. It was only in added time that the record champion with the compensation gate saved from the extension. But it was not only bumpy on the pitch – coach Vincent Kompany also got an unfortunate moment.
The Bayern coach quickly wanted to bring a ball back into the field from the end. But on the wet lawn, the Belgian lost his balance in his sneakers and slipped out. He landed on his back – and seemed visibly surprised.
Company was not injured in the fall and could smile at his mishap. Then he got up, returned to his coaching zone and concentrated again on the game.
