“This is a terrible relief, this whole story has already started in 2018. I am really pleasantly surprised that the council dares so unanimously. My confidence in local politics gained a big boost yesterday.” The developer himself, on the other hand, still sees salvation in the project. “We were mainly told at the meeting what the city council wants.”

“We have based a new plan based on the concerns of the local residents and the council members. Unfortunately, that plan could not be submitted for this vote, but we think we will meet many of the bottlenecks.”

The main difference lies in the number of locations. In the old plan it was still 281 places, the developer is now aiming for 160 normal places and 25 tractor cabins. The entrance to the motorized traffic site is also moved from the Vijfhuizerdijk to the Spaarnwouderweg in the new plan.
