The man who died in a car accident on Friday evening on the A67 near the Belgian border is an 18-year-old man from Belgium. The man was thrown from the car and then hit by three cars on the highway.

The car he was in crashed into the guardrail in the central reservation around ten o’clock on Friday evening. As a result, an 18-year-old man, one of the four occupants, was thrown from the car. He was then hit by three cars driving on the highway. The victim died instantly.

The three other passengers were injured. It concerns an 18-year-old man from France and a 19-year-old man from Belgium.

The driver of the car (a twenty-year-old man from Belgium) has been arrested. Because all the passengers are from abroad, it took some time for the police to trace their identities.
