His time in England has ended since summer. Now Christian Eriksen apparently moves to Germany.

Denmark’s captain Christian Eriksen is facing the Bundesliga before switching to VfL Wolfsburg. As the “kicker” and the Danish “Tipsbladet” report, the 33-year-old, who was recently without a club, chose the “wolves”. Since his farewell to Manchester United, Eriksen had been associated with several top clubs-including Bayer Leverkusen.

Eriksen and Wolfsburg are said to have agreed on a change that the Dane is already on the way to Germany to complete the transfer. For Eriksen, VfL would be the first stop in the Bundesliga.

According to the Danish report, Wolfsburg’s managing director Sport had his fingers in the game. Compatriot Peter Christiansen has been working at VfL since July 2024.
