According to Theo Janotta, VfL Osnabrück has reported the second new addition for the coming season. Central defender Robin Fabinski changes to the third division from the regional league north-east of Rot-Weiß Erfurt. The 21-year-old leaves the Erfurt after two years and 42 games and is now taking the next step. Fabinski has not yet been used in one of the three German professional leagues.
“In the discussion about Robin Fabinski, we quickly agreed internally. All scouts and the coaching team see great potential, trust him to step into the 3rd division and are happy to work with him. Despite his young age, Robin prevailed in a duel -intensive league and impressed in personal conversations with clear ideas and determination. We are all the more pleased that he has decided on RW Erfurt despite further options for VfL. Michael Welling.
Fabinski added: “After two intensive and educational years in Erfurt, the right time has come for me to take on a new challenge. I am very happy to be part of VfL Osnabrück from summer to develop myself in a new club and in a new league and win football games with VfL Osnabrück.”
