Injured against Cologne
In the Bundesliga relegation battle, VfB Stuttgart will have to do without defender Pascal Stenzel for the time being. The 26-year-old suffered a torn muscle in his thigh in the home game against 1. FC Köln (3-0) last Saturday, as the Swabians announced on Tuesday.
Stenzel will be out for two to three weeks, it said. The full-back was only substituted on in the closing stages of the game. In the current season, Stenzel was only on the pitch for 437 minutes in 14 games (one goal). Next Saturday (6:30 p.m. / Sky) VfB is a guest at bottom FC Schalke 04.
