VfB Stuttgart | Deadline for Nübel decision at FC Bayern revealed

Alexander Nübel was present at the FC Bayern training camp in Rottach-Egern am Tegernsee until the very end, spending most of the time on the pitch with his teammates. However, that could change before the start of the German champions’ trip to Southeast Asia on Monday.

According to a “Sky” report, it should be finally clear by Sunday evening how things will continue with the goalkeeper, who had not yet progressed beyond the role of substitute goalkeeper at Bayern.

According to information from the broadcaster, VfB Stuttgart is still the most likely option if there is another loan deal with the 26-year-old. The loan fee offered by the Swabians in the amount of 500,000 euros was recently rejected by Munich, meanwhile the offer is said to be one million euros for the coming season.

Nübel was last awarded to Monaco for two years

Even before the start of the Summer Tour, during which FC Bayern will play against Manchester City (July 26) and Liverpool FC (August 2), the personnel should be clarified.

As the report goes on to say, both Nübel and FC Bayern are now clearly tending to get involved in the loan deal with VfB Stuttgart. In the Swabians, the goalkeeper would probably be the clear number one between the posts, while the prospects in Munich are once again not too promising for the ex-Schalke.

Nübel is contractually bound to FC Bayern until 2025. There shouldn’t be a purchase option in the ready-made loan agreement between Bayern and Swabia, so the goalkeeper would return to the German record champions again in the summer of 2024.

Nübel had played the last two seasons as a loan player at AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
