Today, the Veteran Search Team (VST) is searching with eighty people in the Amsterdamse Bos for the missing Jessica Kurzawa (29) from Haarlem. Jessica has been missing for two weeks now and was last seen in a confused state at VUmc Hospital in Amsterdam.
Photos show that the search is taking place along the Bosbaan, among other things. The police say that Jessica has indeed not yet been found. “We very much hope that we find her and we are doing our best for that,” says a police spokesman.

The woman is 1.67 meters tall, has a slim build, a light complexion and may wear large glasses. When she went missing, Jessica was wearing a white hooded jacket with a dark patch on the left chest. She also wore a scarf, light-colored shoes and a dark-colored backpack.
Police also say Jessica has a scar about an inch long on the knuckles near her little finger and ring finger on one of her hands.
Dead man
It is striking that during the search this morning a dead man was found in Nieuwe Meer near the Amsterdamse Bos. There doesn’t seem to be any connection.
