Verstappen starts perfectly in Canada and sees McLaren standing at a big eight score, heavy crash leclerc

Max Verstappen drove the fastest time in the first free practice for the Grand Prix of Canada. Red Bull’s driver set a 1: 13.193 and was therefore 39 thousandths faster than the surprisingly good Alexander Albon, who was slightly faster than teammate Carlos Sainz. The session was briefly stopped due to a red flag after a crash by Charles Leclerc.
