Verstappen fastest in qualifying GP Belgium, but Sainz starts from pole | Motorsport

Dutchman starts on P15, ahead of Leclerc

FRANCORCHAMPS – Max Verstappen will normally start at the Grand of Belgium on Sunday from the fifteenth starting position, if all penalties have been processed in the order of the starting grid. The Dutchman set the fastest time in qualifying, but he had already received a grid penalty due to an engine and gearbox change. Because there are still four drivers who have received this penalty – including Charles Leclerc – the question was who would be the fastest for P15. The Dutchman was a lot faster than the rest of the field, but Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) will start from pole position on Sunday.
