Verstappen effect in hospital: more seriously injured karters on the operating table

Karting is on the rise thanks to the performances of Max Verstappen in Formula 1. But unfortunately they also notice this in the hospital. Since Verstappen’s first world title, they see four times more young victims every year at the Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen. The youngest injured karter was only 4 years old.
