In the run -up to the federal budget discussions, Minister of Justice Annelies Verlinden (CD&V) asks considerably more resources for her department. “If I make the sum of what the judiciary needs in honor and conscience, I will come to 1 billion euros extra,” she says in an interview with Het Nieuwsblad.
