It is about a collective agreement for the Zalando employees. Therefore, a third warning strike is planned this Tuesday at the beginning of the early shift. It should also include the late and night shift. For the workforce, the union requires the recognition of the area collective agreements for individual and mail order in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.
Wages for employees in the warehouse were around 15 percent above those of Zalando in these contracts. In addition, there would be higher surcharges, shorter weekly working hours, tariff pension and further improvements. The union referred to the good business development of the Internet retailer. Some thousand employees are employed in the logistics center.
