Vegas goaltender Robin Lehner sidelined for the entire season

The NHL club Vegas Golden Knights has announced that the team’s Swedish number one goalie by Robin Lehner is expected to be sidelined for the entire next season due to hip surgery.

The 31-year-old Lehner played 44 games in goal for the team last season with a save percentage of 90.7. He moved to the casino city in the spring of 2020.

Lehner was nominated for the NHL’s best goaltender in the 2018–19 season. During his handsome NHL career, he has also suffered from mental health problems, which he has talked about openly.

Lehner’s contract with Vegas runs through 2025 at an average salary of $5 million per season.
