Sirpa Selänne changed her party dress with her daughter Veera during the continuation of Linna’s party.

Ex-hockey player Teemu Selänne celebrated Independence Day with his wife Sirpa Selänte and the couple’s daughter Veera Selänte in Helsinki. The family spent the evening at the official continuation of the Linna celebrations at hotel Kämp.

Veera arrived at Kämpi in a black transparent dress with lace decorations, Sirpa, on the other hand, was wearing a sparkling gray evening dress. Now Sirpa tells the news in his Instagram updatethat as the evening progressed, mother and daughter changed their outfits.

– That feeling when your own outfit at a party annoys you and your daughter suggests that “well, do you want to change dresses with me”, Sirpa writes alongside the video she published.

Sirpa has shared plenty of pictures from her Independence Day celebration in her second Instagram post.

– Congratulations, dear 108-year-old Finland. We celebrated this precious day with friends and although judging from the pictures it was a fun party, we also really got quiet and thought about what is most important to us in an independent Finland. I strongly remembered the respect for war veterans, who so unselfishly did everything that we Finns can be Finns. We are so very grateful for their tenacity, Sirpa writes.
