A study previously proved that a so-called 2G policy (only events for those who have been vaccinated or cured; ed.) could prevent many infections. “Saying that you are working with a vaccination certificate instead of a vaccination and testing certificate is actually a bit of a different way of making the shot mandatory. This is already happening in a number of other countries,” says Vandenbroucke.
“By having a vaccination certificate, you deprive a number of opportunities for people who take serious risks for themselves, for the people around them and for the health care system. In principle I have no problem with that at all.”
