Van Ranst: ‘Omicron wave will be fastest wave’
The number of corona infections shot to a record high on Wednesday. According to the RIVM, a total of 24,590 new infections were reported. A large proportion of these infections would be those of the omicron variant. According to the Flemish virologist Marc Van Ranst, the Omicron wave is the fastest wave we will get.
