According to Van Mieghem, FC Volendam’s season had both lows and highs. “Personal highlight? Scoring in De Kuip was of course nice. But that we stay in it. Direct enforcement. FC Volendam coach Wim Jonk also looked back on a successful last match and a successful season. “You are at the bottom halfway through the season. And then there was the unrest within the club that does not help. Then you work hard during the winter break. And then by getting results you also gain faith. That often has us over the threshold in matches assisted.”
