Asylum and Migration Anneleen van Bossuyt (N-VA) will stop the return premium for asylum seekers from Moldova with immediate effect. The measure follows on its first foreign ‘dissemination mission’ to Moldova, where it turned out that the premium – which could go up to 1,000 euros – had an important suction effect on migration towards Belgium.
