Valentino appoints Matteo Di Pasquale as Chief Human Resources Officer

Valentino has a new human resources manager.

The Italian luxury fashion house has appointed Matteo Di Pasquale to the role of chief human resources officer, Valentino announced on Friday. As such, Di Pasquale will now report directly to CEO Jacopo Venturini.

The decision to appoint Matteo to this central role is linked to the opportunity to give continuity to the development process of Valentino’s human resources strategy, which began several years ago, the statement said. He will also act as an ambassador for Valentino’s vision of putting people at the center and define and further develop the human resources management path to support the company’s sustainable business growth.

Valentino’s designated human resources manager comes from within his own ranks. He joined the Italian fashion house in June 2021 as Compensation and Benefits Director and has held the position of HR Officer ad interim since July 2023. Di Pasquale previously worked for, among others, the consulting firm Hay Group and the German automobile company Mercedes-Benz Group, where he gradually took on responsible tasks in the human resources department, according to the statement.
