UZA starts with cancer treatment at home: “Treated at home in the seat, with a cup of coffee there”

The Antwerp University Hospital (UZA) has recently offered certain cancer treatments in patients’ homes. This is chemotherapy for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and immunotherapy for a specific group of breast cancer patients. “In some other countries, home administration is already a standard practice.”
