A “propaganda tour” and a “disappointing farce”. That’s how human rights activists label United Nations human rights chief Michelle Bachelet’s visit to China’s Xinjiang Uyghur region. On Saturday, Bachelet concluded her visit with a press conference, which was experienced as a disappointment by Uyghurs outside China.
