Davide Frattesi has received well-deserved reward for his strong development at US Sassuolo. On Thursday, the Serie A club announced the extension of the contract with the 22-year-old midfielder, who moved from AS Roma to Emilia-Romagna in 2017, but is a factor in the current tenth place in the current season for the first time. He is now bound until 2026.
Sassuolo had awarded the junior national player a total of three times in the second division. Frattesi was able to establish himself as a regular at Ascoli and Empoli as well as in Monza and found his place at Sassuolo after his return last summer. He only missed one game in the current championship round and has more than doubled his market value since then. The update on Tuesday alone went up by a further 5 million to 20 million euros.
