US President Donald Trump also does not miss the opportunity to be on site at the Super Bowl. His presence was obviously well received by the audience.
It is one of the largest sporting events in the world: the final of the US football league NFL, the Super Bowl. One who loves the big stage is US President Donald Trump. Therefore, the Republican did not miss the opportunity to be the first acting president of history to be live in New Orleans when the Kansas City Chiefs met the Philadelphia Eagles late Sunday afternoon (local time).
Even before the game started, Trump showed himself briefly on the field in the superdome. While the audience largely ignored him at the time, the 78-year-old got another big appearance. When US interpreter John Batiste sang the national anthem, Trump was shown on the large screens in the stadium.
The Trump, who had ruled in the blue suit in the second term in January 20, and with a red tie alongside his daughter Ivanka, was to be seen as he was watching the national anthem – and was cheered out by the audience in New Orleans. Some boo calls were also heard, but the cheers outweighed.
Incidentally, the audience was largely made up of Philadelphia-Eagles fans. This became clear when the two teams entered, when the team from the state of Pennsylvania gave more sympathy to the team from the state of Pennsylvania.
This was also noticeable as music superstar Taylor Swift on the video screen. In contrast to Trump, the 35-year-old was loudly boosted by most fans (you can read more about this here). However, this should be less due to her personally, but because of her partner: Travis Kelce is one of the superstars in the Kansas City Chiefs team.
