I want to thank my team enormously. We have experienced a lot. It was not always easy, but they stood by my side.”
Osaka returned last year after a pregnancy and is again looking for her top form. The former number 1 in the world won her last title at the Australian Open at the beginning of 2021. Osaka was the best at the US Open in 2018 and 2020. Gauff won the US Open in 2023.
