After almost 23 years of captivity, one of the first detainees imprisoned in the controversial American prison of Cuban Guantanamo has been extradited to Tunisia. As early as January, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had informed Congress of his plan to support the repatriation after a rigorous investigation, the Pentagon said Monday. It does not provide information about the circumstances of the extradition.
