The United States refuses to pay its annual contribution – 3.6 million dollars (3.49 million euros) – to the World Anti-Doping Agency. “That is a decision made by the White House and Congress, but we fully support it,” said Travis Tygart, CEO of the US anti-doping agency USADA. “A major reform is needed at WADA and this seems to be the only way to wake them up.”
