The Uniqlo clothing chain further expands its presence in Germany. On Tuesday, the Japanese retail group Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. belonging to the company that will open its first branches in the metropolises of Munich and Frankfurt am Main next autumn. There is also a move in Cologne.

In Frankfurt am Main, Uniqlo will therefore receive rooms with a total area of ​​around 1,600 square meters on two floors in Biebergasse 6-10. The shop in Munich is opened at Leopoldstraße 35 and have an area of ​​around 900 square meters, which also extends to two floors.

With the two new openings now announced, the number of Uniqlo locations in Germany will increase from ten to twelve. The retail chain celebrated its market entry in Germany in 2014 when the flagship store opened its doors in Berliner Tauentzienstrasse. Since then, other branches have been added in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Stuttgart.

The Cologne branch of Uniqlo moves into Schildergasse in autumn

For the current year, the move of the Cologne store, which is currently still on Hohen Strasse, is planned. In autumn the reopening will take place in Schildergasse 24-30. There Uniqlo will use an area of ​​around 1,450 square meters on three floors.
