Striker replaced in Darmstadt
Table leaders 1. FC Union Berlin have to do without striker Sheraldo Becker (28) and defender and substitute captain Danilho Doekhi (25) for the time being. According to the “Eiserne”, both suffered injuries in the 4-1 win at Darmstadt 98 at the weekend, which forced them to take a break. The Köpenickers did not go into the duration of the downtime.
Becker came after 25 minutes for David Datro Fofana (20), who was also ailing and for whom no diagnosis has yet been published. In the 64th minute, however, the attacker had to go down himself, and Kevin Volland (31) came in for him. Becker was diagnosed with an injury to his right leg. Doekhi played through, but suffered a broken cheekbone, which had to be treated surgically on Sunday.
